Seth Needelman,Chamber President presents troop 329 with new Chamber Park sign-
Kelsey has been scouting since he was six. Now 17, his goal lof earning the rank of Eagle has finally arrived. The Rank achievement of Eagle is a true reward for the young men who have proved
long term dedication and commitment to themselves, their troop and their community. In this day and age for a young man to reach this goal is not an easy, task, in fact less than 5% of Scouts reach
this the highest honor.
Kelsey's Eagle Scout project was designing and building new signs for "Our Lady Of Snow"
church which included presenting the ideas, planning the project, raising the funds and overseeing
completion.
At Troop 329 Kelsey served as the Senior Patrol Leader, and the top youth leader for 2 years, Along the way to Eagle, Kelsey experienced many things, including challenging hi-adventure trips like canoeing in central Alaska and back packing through Philmont Scout ranch in New Mexico.
Both trips were over 50 miles. With Troop 329 he has also tracelled to Maine, Boston, Williamsburg, Philadelphia, Gettyburg, and many of other places.
Kelsey will be attending the University og Bridgeport, studying Industrial Design in September and has received a scholarship for efforts beyond school.
