Hofstra Renames Business School Building Hofstra University has renamed its new, state-of-the-art business school building to honor longtime trustee Leo A. Guthart, whose commitment and support of the University spans more than four decades. The Center for Entrepreneurship is now the Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Read the press release. Apply here. IFW First Women Grant Program Each recipient will receive a $10K grant plus a one-year IFundWomen Annual Coaching Membership. Local Initiative Support Corporation Rural Relief Small Business Grants LISC is not a government agency but receives funds from them as well as from foundations, corporations and banks. SoGal Black Founder Startup Grant Cash grants for Black women & non-binary founders & entrepreneurs; 9 grants of $10K & $5K; Awardees receive tactical help navigating fundraising environment. This application is rolling, with new grantees awarded at the end of each month. Apply here. Rural Relief Small Business Grants LISC-Lowe's Rural Relief Small Business Grants program. Only small businesses located in rural communities are eligible at this time. Rural communities are defined as having a population of 50,000 or less. Apply here.
