Tom Reid Sunshine Scholarship

Honoring positivity, community pride, and encouragement of others. 

The Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the Tom Reid
Sunshine Scholarship, a new non-academic scholarship for
graduating high school seniors.
This award honors the legacy of Thomas J. Reid, a beloved driving
force behind the Gazette and the Chamber of Commerce and a
former Grand Marshal. Tom’s deep love for our community was
reflected in his commitment to celebrating the stories and
accomplishments of local students, artists, and small businesses.
The Sunshine Scholarship recognizes High School seniors who
embody that same spirit of positivity, community pride, and
encouragement of others.
This scholarship awards $500 to selected recipients.
Deadline for submission is the end of second week of May
