As an Army veteran, Member of Congress and proud American, the situation that has unfolded in Afghanistan is infuriating. We still have an unknown number of Americans that need to be safely evacuated by the Administration's fast-approaching, self-imposed August 31st deadline, and I am committed to helping as many Americans as possible get home safely.
