Registration Open for the Restaurant Revitalization Fund Application Applications open Monday, May 3rd at noon. “Restaurants are the core of our neighborhoods and propel economic activity on main streets across the nation. They are among the businesses that have been hardest hit and need support to survive this pandemic. We want restaurants to know that help is here,” said SBA Administrator Isabella Casillas Guzman. Information about the Application Portal Registration for the Restaurant Revitalization Fund (RRF) is open today, Friday, April 30th

  • Applications Open via the application portal on Monday, May 3rd at 12 Noon

  • The application portal will remain open to any eligible establishment until all funds are exhausted, so act now.

Shuttered Venue Operators Grant Application Portal Now Open The U.S. Small Business Administration has reopened the Shuttered Venue Operators Grant application portal, effective Monday, April 26th, 2021 at 12PM EST. Applicants will need a smartphone and a multi-factor authenticator app to register and apply.

Applicants are required to download the Google Authenticator App, explained on pages 20-25 in the above User Guide. Register Here SVOG General Application Tips DUNS Number Registration Tips SAM Registration Tips Employer Tax Credit for COVID-related Paid Leave Your business may be eligible for tax credits of more than $17,000 per employee who has taken COVID-related sick or family leave from April 1 through September 30, 2021. Get paid back for paid leave if you:

  • Are a business with under 500 employees

  • Offer paid sick or family leave to your employees through September 30, 2021, and

  • Have employees who take paid leave due to COVID including for illness, quarantine, getting tested or vaccinated, or caregiving.


This tax credit will allow employers to provide paid leave for employees to get a COVID-19 vaccination and for any time their employees may need to recover from that vaccination at no cost to the employer. Riverhead & Southold Small Businesses May Be Eligible for Up to 10K in SC Grants Suffolk County Steve Bellone recently announced Round 2 of a Small Business Grant Assistance Program for small businesses in the following categories: gyms, salons, barbershops, restaurants and bars. Businesses with up to ten employees may be eligible for a $5000 grant, and business with 11-50 employees may be eligible for $10,000. Interested parties may apply through the Suffolk County Business Recovery Unit Apply Today! SBA Increases Lending Limit for COVID-19 Economic Injury Disaster Loans The SBA has raised the loan limit for the COVID-19 EIDL program from 6-months of economic injury with a maximum loan amount of $150,000 to up to 24-months of economic injury with a maximum loan amount of $500,000. Businesses that want to request an increase should do the following:

  • Use subject line “EIDL Increase Request for [insert your 10-digit application number]”

  • Be sure to include in the body of your email identifying information for your current loan including application number, loan number, business name, business address, business owner name(s), and phone number.
