Dear BUMC Family! Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ! My name is Sejin Cha and, as of Thursday morning (July 1), I am the pastor of Bayport United Methodist Church. Methodists are, somewhat, accustomed to this itinerant system in which pastors move with the movement of the Spirit but it is not easy to say goodbye to one pastor then say hello to another overnight. This is because ministry is relational. And yet, sometimes this is how God works. God moves in unexpected, miraculous ways for God's big plan. As God's faithful disciples, we just walk humbly with our Lord. I would like to express my profound gratitude for the work of the members of the PPRC, Trustees, and others who have gone above and beyond to make my family feel welcome in the community. (Special thanks to Walter, Judith, Diane, Sue, Donna, and Rev. David!) I am so excited to gather with all of you at our worship! With love, Pastor Sejin

Help Us Keep Worshipping...
We are the Body of Christ together! Your support means everything to our church. Giving our tithes and offerings to the Lord gives hope to the hopeless, power to the powerless, and courage to those who are afraid. Not everyone is, but if you are in a position to give a financial gift, you can give online or by mailing a check to:
Bayport UMC, 482 Middle Road, Bayport, NY 11705
